Things We Love: Cookie Magazine!

Check out pages 42 and 42 of the May issue of Cookie to see our luggage become a star! Mixed in with the beautiful Globe-Trotter pieces are our rattan (fourth from bottom under boy's bottom above), faux gator (right below that above) and wood reinforced (bottom under the girl with the hat, below) vintage suitcases.  Also, in the most flattering move ever, the simply amazing Christine Frey has blogged about us on Cookie's blog. What a day!

When I lived in London a few years ago, I used to love spending weekend down-time wandering local markets and antiques peddlers' stalls at Greenwich Village, Camden Town, Gospel Oak, Primrose Hill and Hampstead looking for vintage treasures... items and artifacts that could take me back in Time, giving me a tangible, sensory lesson in history. After moving back (reluctantly) to the US, I found it much more difficult to find these troves and re-create my euro experience. Until now. Wandering through the Hovey sisters' site dedicated to vintage items and memories brings me back, virtually, to my London-based weekend jaunts and market musings. Looking through their discerning eyes at items from the past and sharing memories carved from their own family's enriching experiences is a guided journey back in Time to a place of child like wonderment, awe, and discovery. Glorious! Enjoy the experience and stay awhile...
